Léman Pulse is a poetic project that reimagines the landscape around Lake Léman through human interaction and communication. As one of Geneva's central gathering places, the lake draws tourists and locals who engage with the space in different ways—through photos, social media, or physical presence—while the shores remain a powerful site of collective imagination and emotional connection.
The work focuses on three iconic lakeside locations. On-site research gathered photographs, videos, interviews, electromagnetic signals from devices, color and behavior patterns, and network strength. These layers construct augmented portraits of each site, blending visible and invisible traces—from silent contemplation to constant digital exchange and personal stories that shape how people experience these spaces.
